The short version

• We collect your email only if you sign up for our newsletter. That's it for personal data.
• We use essential cookies to make the site work. We do not run advertising cookies by default.
• Third-party embeds (Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Google Maps) may set their own cookies once you click out.
• You can opt out of our emails with one click, and request data deletion anytime.

What we collect

Email address — only when you voluntarily submit our signup form to receive the itinerary or newsletter. We store this in our email provider (e.g. Formspree, ConvertKit, Mailchimp) under their privacy policy.

Server logs — standard web server logs capture IP address, user agent, and referrer for security and performance. Logs are retained for up to 30 days.

Analytics (if enabled) — if we run Plausible (cookieless) or Google Analytics (with consent), aggregate page view data. No individual tracking without consent.

How we use data

• Email: to deliver content you requested and occasional travel tips. Not sold, not shared with third parties.
• Logs: to keep the site running and spot abuse.
• Analytics: to understand which content helps people.

Affiliate tracking

When you click an affiliate link (Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Welcome Pickups, Airalo, SafetyWing, etc.), that partner may set tracking cookies to attribute a booking to us. These cookies are set by the partner, not by us, and are governed by their privacy policy. We don't receive any personally identifiable info about you from them.
